Athens Learning Group challenges
clients to create education programs that help students compete at the
world's top colleges and universities. Our consultants offer a unique
combination of expertise in classroom instruction, leadership strategy,
and entrepreneurship, helping clients turn critical insights into
successful practice. We only measure breakthrough results - our
children cannot afford incremental progress.
Practice Areas
- Systems Leadership: we partner with
governments, school districts, foundations and non-profits to identify
and implement system-wide education strategies that increase college
readiness for students.
- School Leadership: we partner with
instructional leadership teams of secondary schools to build the
school's capacity to provide effective, coherent, and rigorous
instruction, with the goal of dramatically increasing the number of
students prepared to compete in four-year colleges.
- Literacy - Reason Write Program:
we partner with middle and high schools to implement the Reason
Write program. Reason Write is a
writing-across-the-curriculum program providing secondary students with
coherent, consistent literacy instruction across all grade levels and
across all academic disciplines. By focusing exclusively on
argumentation, students develop the critical reading, writing and
thinking skills that are required to succeed in college and university
courses.
